The engines cover is secured by a heavy duty braided poly draw cord at the base. Simply "snug up" the cord and then slide the cam lock up to maintain the tension. We use stainless steel grommets so there is no rust and there is no metal in the cam lock for the same reason. REAL PROTECTION for a very expensive investment-your outboard.
